I travelled to Antarctica in December 2017 and January 2018 with One Ocean Expeditions. Their ships leave Ushuaia Argentina and take small groups of passengers for a unique experience on the distant continent. 

Accommodation is comfortable on the well staffed ships and there are daily onshore excursions with knowledgeable scientists, historians and of course the Photographer in Residence.

I was Photographer in Residence on these trips both taking pictures and helping passengers take better pictures. 

The scenery and comraderie are incredible but my strongest impression is one of timelessness.
